The Arqus European University Alliance was officially established on November 27, 2018, in Brussels. This alliance, comprised of nine renowned European universities, was formed to enhance interdisciplinary collaboration. The founding members include the universities of Granada, Graz, Leipzig, Lyon 1, Maynooth, Minho, Padua, Vilnius, and Wroclaw. Arqus students are part of a vast network encompassing over 300,000 students from diverse European countries. The Alliance also supports early career researchers by promoting joint PhD and post-doctoral endeavors and facilitating access to shared research infrastructure across the nine participating universities.

The Arqus Talent Scholarship Fund, offered by the Arqus European University Alliance for the 2024-25 academic year, provides a monthly allowance of **1,400.00€**. This allowance covers your expenses, including **living costs**, **medical insurance**, and **materials**. The Arqus Talent Scholarship also covers your **tuition fee**.

Eligibility Criteria:
The Arqus Talent Scholarship Fund, part of the Arqus European University Alliance, for the academic year 2024-25, will be awarded based on the following eligibility criteria:
- To be eligible, applicants must be international students applying to a Ph.D. program at a partner university in Europe.
- Applicants must be admitted to the doctoral program with a minimum grade of B in their previous master's degree record.
- Applicants must demonstrate sufficient language proficiency, equivalent to a B2 level, in any language recognized by the Alliance.
Application Deadline:
The application deadline for the Arqus Talent Scholarship Fund 2024-25 varies depending on whether you are applying for a Masters or PhD degree program.
- The first call, exclusively for doctoral students, is open from March 31, 2024 to May 31, 2024 (23:59 CEST).
- The second call, exclusively for Master's students, is open from May 3, 2024 to July 3, 2024 (23:59 CEST).
- The third call, exclusively for Master's students, is open from April 2, 2024 to June 30, 2024 (23:59 CEST).
