Commonwealth Medical Fellowships 2019 (Fully Funded)
The Commonwealth Medical Fellowships 2019 in the UK are currently accepting applications. These fellowships are designed for mid-career medical professionals from low and middle-income countries who are seeking to enhance their clinical skills. The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC) annually awards approximately 800 scholarships and fellowships for postgraduate study and professional development to citizens of Commonwealth countries.
**Objective:** To empower mid-career medical professionals with the means to elevate their clinical expertise and generate positive change within their respective work environments.
The Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan (CSFP) stands as one of the most substantial and esteemed international scholarship programs globally. Since its inception in 1959, a remarkable 35,000 individuals have been awarded Commonwealth Scholarships or Fellowships – an impressive 27,000 of whom were generously funded by the UK government, through the dedicated Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the United Kingdom (CSC).

As part of your fellowship, you will be required to participate in clinical practice and register with the General Medical Council (GMC). Applications for fellowship programs that do not necessitate GMC registration will be deemed ineligible.
Applications to the CSC must be submitted directly through the CSC's online application system. The Dean of the Medical School where you hold an academic appointment must endorse your application. The CSC will not accept applications submitted through any other method.
For these fellowships, we will only accept one application per applicant.

Upon receipt by the CSC, each candidate's application undergoes a two-step review process. First, the CSC's Medical Awards Administrator assesses the application. Subsequently, the CSC selection committee evaluates the application alongside those of other candidates. The selection process is guided by the following criteria:
