The Dalda Foundation Scholarships for the 2022/23 academic year will provide support to students in the following areas:
Established in 2004, Dalda Foundation initially made a significant contribution to Unilever Pakistan, donating approximately Rs 1.33 billion. The company, known for its supply of rapeseed and edible oil nationwide, subsequently expanded its efforts to assist underprivileged communities in Pakistan. To formalize and sustain this commitment to social welfare, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) was established and named Dalda Foundation.
This foundation's primary goal was to provide support to contemporary healthcare institutions within Pakistan. Shortly after its establishment, the foundation recognized a pressing need for financial assistance among the country's most disadvantaged students. Consequently, they initiated an educational program designed to cultivate the potential of academically gifted students from underprivileged backgrounds nationwide.
