Required Documents:
While applying online, these documents are not mandatory. Only shortlisted candidates will be required to submit them. Therefore, it is advisable to prepare these documents in advance:
- Submit a copy of your signed application form from HEC.
- Provide attested copies of all educational documents.
- Include a copy of your CNIC.
- Submit a letter of motivation outlining your reasons for applying.
- Provide documentation to demonstrate your outstanding educational performances and your involvement in extracurricular and volunteering activities.
- Include a letter of recommendation highlighting your strengths and qualifications.
- Doctoral students must submit their dissertation/thesis prepared for their Master's degree and their doctoral thesis proposal.
- A Non-criminal Record (Police Clearance Certificate) not older than six months before the application deadline is required.
- All applicants must submit a medical certificate confirming their satisfactory health condition. This must include a written statement from a physician certifying that the applicant does not have AIDS, Hepatitis A, B, C or any other epidemic conditions.
- If you are currently employed, a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your employer is required.

Eligibility Criteria:
To apply online for the HEC Moroccan Government Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- To be eligible, you must be a Pakistani/AJK national and a permanent resident of Pakistan/AJK. Dual nationality is not accepted.
- The selected scholar must be able to begin their academic studies in Moroccan Universities at the start of the academic year in September/October 2024.
- For an undergraduate program, you must have a minimum of 12 years of education (FSC/A-level) degree. Age must be between 19-23 years.
- For a Master’s program, you must have a minimum of 16 years of education in the relevant field of study.
- To be admitted to a PhD program at a relevant Moroccan university, you must have at least 18 years of study in the relevant field of study.
- The applicant must not be currently receiving any other scholarship.
- Applicants must meet all other requirements set by the concerned university in Morocco.
- The candidate must not have been previously banned from the Kingdom of Morocco due to criminal activity.
- The primary language of communication is French. Applicants who do not have a sufficient level of French must take a language upgrade course in their first academic year. Successful completion of the language course is required for enrollment in a degree program. Repetition of the language course is not allowed. Linguistic fields, Arabic literature & Islamic studies are taught in Arabic and applicants in these fields must learn Arabic.
