Master's Degree Scholarship Opportunities
Type A
Coverage: CNY 25,000
Who benefits from this?
The scholarship is available to Masters Students in these categories:
- JSU students who demonstrate excellence in their pursuit of a master's degree after completing their bachelor's degree.
- Applicants recommended by universities participating in the "Belt and Road" Initiative.
- Graduates from institutions ranked among the top 1,000 universities worldwide, based on rankings by four globally recognized systems: US News & World Report, QS, THE, and ARWU.
- Graduates from "First-Class Universities" in China, as well as graduates of "First-Class Disciplines" programs or those ranked within the top 1% of the ESI (Essential Science Indicators).
Type B
Coverage: CNY 20,000.
Eligible Recipients: Other admitted master's degree candidates.
Doctoral Candidate Scholarships
Type A
Covered Expenses: Tuition, Accommodation Fee (CNY 5,000) and Living Allowance (CNY 5,000)
Beneficiaries:
The doctoral scholarship is available to applicants in the following categories:
- JSU students who excel academically and pursue higher education, from master's degrees to doctoral degrees.
- Candidates nominated by universities participating in the "Belt and Road" initiative.
- Graduate candidates from institutions ranked among the top 1000 universities globally, based on four internationally recognized ranking systems: US News & World Report, QS, THE, and ARWU.
- Graduate candidates from leading Chinese universities, those classified as "First-class Universities," graduates from programs designated as "First-class Disciplines," or individuals ranking within the top 1% of the Essential Science Indicators (ESI).
Type B
What's Covered: Tuition and Accommodation Fee (CNY 5,000)
Eligibility: This benefit is available to other admitted Ph.D. candidates.
Scholarships for Bachelor Programs Taught in English
Coverage: CNY 10,000 (applicable for the initial year only)
Beneficiaries:
This scholarship category is available to the following Undergraduate students:
- New students are enrolled in the following programs: Material Science and Engineering, Electronic Commerce, and Corporate Finance.

To apply for the Jiangsu University Presidential Scholarship 2024-25 in China, students must submit the following documents online:
- A valid copy of your passport
- Your degree transcript. If it's not in English, please provide a notarized English translation.

- Eligible Course or Subjects: Undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs are accepted in fields such as Engineering, Insurance, Financial Management, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Automation, Commerce, Business, Marketing, Human Resource, science, and more.
- Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must be international students.
- Applicants must hold an offer to study in an approved program at the university.
- Age Requirement: Bachelor's degree applicants must be under 25 years old, Master's degree applicants must be under 30 years old, and PhD applicants must be under 40 years old.
