Boudreault's research laboratory focuses on medicinal chemistry, specifically at the intersection of chemistry, biology, medicine, and molecular modeling. Their expertise in organic chemistry, small molecules, natural product derivatives, peptides, and peptidomimetic synthesis, along with molecular modeling, are utilized as tools to investigate and comprehend significant problems in bioorganic and medicinal chemistry. A particular emphasis is placed on the design, synthesis, and biological characterization of novel molecular entities, exploring their interactions with receptors and other cellular biochemical systems. Additionally, their research includes the optimization of the pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic properties of these molecular entities.
A collaborative strategy prioritizes the identification of potential therapeutic targets for investigation. These targets are explored in the context of developing:
- Small molecule enzymatic modulators
- Modulators of protein-protein and protein-biomolecule interactions
- Modulators of GPCRs and TTSPs
- Mono- and bi-cyclic molecular systems, designed and studied to optimize structure-activity relationships and pharmacokinetic properties
- Peptidomimetic molecules
- Antibodies and bioconjugates
While we appreciate all applications, we will only be contacting shortlisted candidates.
