Scholarship Details

The scholarship is open to applicants across all academic programs offered at the university, rather than being restricted to a specific faculty or discipline. Because scholarships are distributed by citizenship-based quotas, the number of awards available in any single nationality category can vary depending on both the applicant pool and unused allocations from other categories.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must hold a valid qualification obtained in a foreign education system that provides access to a graduate program, and must not hold Italian citizenship or reside in Italy at the time of application. Candidates must be 29 years old or younger. Entries are evaluated based on GRE General Test scores, meaning applicants should plan to sit the GRE well in advance of the application deadline to ensure their scores are available for review. The ten available scholarships are distributed across defined citizenship categories: three are reserved for students with Mexican citizenship, three for students with Japanese citizenship, four for students from Algeria, Cameroon, Gabon, Mali, Morocco, the Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, Senegal, or Tunisia, and five for students of any other citizenship not already listed. If scholarships within the first three categories are not awarded, they are redistributed to the general international pool.
