Eligibility Requirements:
To apply for the University of Tokyo Summer Internship online, applicants must fulfill the following criteria:
- This scholarship is open to all international students, regardless of nationality.
- Applicants must be enrolled in a college or university worldwide that awards a Bachelor's Degree (or its equivalent).
- Applicants must be undergraduate students.
- Applicants must have completed at least their first year of undergraduate study by the start of the summer program.
- Applicants must not be graduating before the summer program begins and must resume their undergraduate studies for at least one semester or one quarter after the summer program ends.
- Applicants must provide a letter from their university confirming that they are pursuing their education in English. This letter can be considered an English proficiency certificate.
- Reside in the accommodation provided by the University of Tokyo.
- Actively participate in daily life, demonstrate respect for all laboratory members' work, and attend and engage in laboratory meetings or other gatherings.
- Attend the orientation on June 4, all mandatory conferences, activities, and social events.
- Deliver a presentation at the program's conclusion.
